I strive for simplicity and durability in my designs, but also to pay tribute to cultures of craft and history.  For the Avanyu, it's all the small details that set it apart and make it unique.  Incredibly beautiful 5/6oz vegetable tanned Italian Leather, custom solid brass donut-button post hardware, and each individually stitched with powder blue Avanyu motif, drawing inspiration from the Tewa Pueblo, where the Avanyu represents the relationship and importance of water in life.

The last two photos shows the patina this cuff achieves over time, the first after just a little sun exposure, and the last photo an 8 month old Avanyu Cuff, after a Summer spent by rivers.
